September 27, 2007: USGC awarded a follow-on task order by the U.S. Coast Guard to provide Records Management and Imaging Services

The U.S. Coast Guard has announced the award of a follow-on contract to USGC, Inc. to continue to provide provide records management and imaging support to the Merchant Mariner Credentialing Program in Kearneysville, West Virginia.

August 3, 2007: USGC, Inc. awarded Subcontract by SBI Technologies, Inc. to provide services under the NSETS II Program

SBI Technologies, Inc. has selected USGC, Inc. to be a team member for the newly awarded NSA NSETS II Contract.  NSETS II is an important agency initiative to competitively acquire agency requirements for business, engineering, information technology, operations support, and training services.

July 31, 2007: USGC, Inc. announces U.S. Army Prime Contract Award for Training services for U.S. Troops

USGC, Inc. today announced that the Company, along with its partner, Torres Advanced Enterprise Systems, was awarded a two year U.S. Army Training Services contract. Commenting on the contract, Jack Savage, Chief Operating Officer, said: "We are very pleased with this important win, which reinforces our strong commitment and relationship with the Army and demonstrates our ability and desire to provide a full spectrum of professional services to support our troops around the world." 

June 7, 2007: USGC, Inc. has been selected to provide Security Assurance Services and Innovation (SASI) as a Subcontractor to Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) under a BPA Awarded by the Department of State

The Security Assurance Services and Innovation (SASI) BPA is for the Department of State to provide for a safe and secure IT environment. The effort encompasses technical, engineering, management, operational, logistical, administration, and other support necessary to provide for the security of the full range of information resources (unclassified, Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU), and classified) to publicly available information, including but not limited to, computation, communications, telecommunications, telephony, wireless, physical and logical monitoring and security systems, and other computer-managed or controlled systems or networks. The master ceiling of the BPA for all prime contractor awardees is valued at $710 million in the aggregate for one base year plus four option years.

April 11, 2007: Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) Selects USGC to be a member of its DHS Eagle (Large Business) Team

CSC and USGC have reached agreement on USGC becoming a member of CSC's EAGLE (large business) team.  Under the subcontract, USGC can offer services in four functional categories. FC #1-Infrastructure Engineering Design, Development, Implementation, and Integration; FC #2-Operations and Maintenance; FC #4-Software Development ; and FC #5-Management Support Services.  Services may include IT Transformation, IT Infrastructure and Systems Integration, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Consulting, and Project Services, Information Assurance, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Emergency Preparedness and Response, and Biosurveillance.

March 13, 2007: Raytheon to Award USGC a Subcontract under the NAVFAC ATFP Ashore Program

USGC will provide Raytheon and the Navy with procurement, installation, and sustainment of Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Ashore Program equipment at naval installations worldwide. Work will be performed at various locations worldwide. The term of the contract is not to exceed 60 months, with an expected completion date of March 2012 with options. The ATFP Ashore Program goal is to automate and improve the security of Navy shore installations worldwide for Physical Security Equipment (PSE) procurement, installation, and life cycle sustainment, as well as sustainment of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) requirements using a total systems engineering approach.  The ATFP Ashore Program is a critical element in improving the security posture at Navy shore installations worldwide. ATFP equipment is defined as equipment that facilitates the detection, delay, deterrence, assessment and response to terrorist events.

March 8, 2007: USGC was selected to join the Small Business Department of Homeland Security, EAGLE contract team of ECS-Federal

ECS-Federal, one of the small business EAGLE award winners, has approved USGC, Inc. as a teaming partner on its EAGLE team.  The Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading-Edge Solutions (EAGLE) is a multiple-award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle, specifically designed as the preferred source of information technology (IT) services for the majority of the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS’s) enterprise infrastructure and initiatives.  The subcontract mirrors the prime contract award to ECS-Federal in Functional Category 1 (FC1) – Infrastructure Engineering Design, Development, Implementation, and Integration.   Under FC1, services include but are Not Limited to: Any and all phases of system design and development Full range infrastructure engineering design, development, implementation and integration Full life cycle support from concept development, planning, requirements analysis and final deployment and maintenance.

October 31, 2006: USGC Selected as Subcontractor by CSC on $98 Million Prime 3.2 Task Order to Provide Network Telecommunications, Local and Wide-Area Networking, Security Operations, and Customer and Global Logistics Support to USAID

USGC, Inc. announced that it has been selected as part of a team performing a five year, $98 million task order awarded to Computer Sciences Corporation.  Under the task order, USGC is expected to support the provision of network operations, desktop support, and help desk support to USAID within the overall scope of Network Telecommunications, Local and Wide-Area Networking, Security Operations, and Customer and Global Logistics Support.  The work will be performed at USAID headquarters and field sites.

September 28, 2006: U.S. Coast Guard Selects USGC to Support National Maritime Center Consolidation

USGC, Inc. has been awarded a task order to provide records management and imaging services to the United States Coast Guard.  Under the contract, USGC will support the Coast Guard's efforts to consolidate application evaluation functions, credential issuing responsibilities, maintenance of mariner records, and user fee collections for the issuance and denial of Mariner Credentials.  The project is to be performed on-site at National Maritime Center facilities in Kearneysville near Martinsburg, West Virginia.

May 29, 2006: CSC Selects USGC to Support PRIME 3.2 Blanket Purchase Agreement at USAID

Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) has awarded USGC a subcontract under the newly awarded Principal Resource for Information Management Enterprisewide (PRIME) 3.2 Blanket Purchase Agreement.  The total value of all task orders at the prime level of PRIME 3.2 is expected to be $4 Billion dollars.  CSC is one of five firms that will compete for task orders.  Services to be provided under PRIME 3.2 include: IT Operations and Maintenance Services; Communications Operations and Support; Customer Support Services; and Systems Integration Support Services.

February 25, 2006: USGC Selected as Part of QSS Group Team to Modernize IRS Systems

USGC, Inc. has been awarded a subcontract as a member of QSS Group's TIPSS 3 Team under a five year prime contract worth up to approximately $3 Billion.  QSS Group was the only new large prime awarded a TIPSS 3 contract.  The contract provides a broad range of Information Technology services to the Internal Revenue Service, Department of the Treasury and all its offices and other federal agencies.

September 30, 2005: CSC Selects USGC to Support Business Systems Modernization and Strategic Management Consulting Services at USAID

USGC, Inc. announced that Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) has awarded USGC a subcontract to support CSC's newly awarded Principal Resource for Information Management Enterprise-wide (PRIME) 3.1 BPA at USAID.  Under the contract, the CSC team, including USGC will support USAID with management consulting services designed to support Business Systems Modernization, under task orders to be awarded competitively to CSC and other PRIME 3.1 winners.

September 1, 2005: USGC Moves to Larger, More Modern Headquarters in Annapolis

USGC Inc. has announced the move of its headquarters across Annapolis to newer and larger facilities.  The move is effective September 1, 2005.

August 22, 2005: SEC Selects USGC to Provide Telecommunications Circuit/Billing Audits at Headquarters and at All Regional Offices

The Securities and Exchange Commission has entered into a contract with USGC to provide national audits of its telecommunications services circuits and billings.  The contract is expected to reap savings to the SEC of several hundred thousands of dollars.

June 10, 2005:  U.S. Navy Selects USGC as Prime Contractor for Nine Year Navy Seaport-e Contract

The U.S. Navy has awarded USGC an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contract (MAC) for support services for all phases of weapon systems acquisition and life-cycle support including research & development support, prototyping, acquisition logistics, modeling, test & evaluation trials, and engineering support.  The award has a four-year base period with one five-year award term and one additional one-year award term.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Va. is the contracting activity.   The Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Strategic Systems Programs, and the United States Marine Corps, along with their Warfare Centers, field activities and affiliated Program Executive Offices (PEOs) have the ability to use the SeaPort-e system as ordering offices. 

April 11, 2005:  Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Selects USGC  to Provide Acquisition Support Services

USGC has announced that TSA has been awarded a GSA Schedule-based Blanket Purchase Agreement to provide acquisition support services to TSA.  The contract could be worth up to $15M or more, depending on the number of task orders issued to USGC's team under the contract.  Under the contract, USGC staff and subcontractors will provide a ful range of acquisition support services, from cradle to grave.

March 7, 2004:  USGC Awarded $4 Million Subcontract to Lockheed Martin to Support EPA

Patricia Cresta-Savage, Chair and CEO of USGC, Inc., announced that USGC has just been awarded a subcontract worth at least $4 Million over the next five years to support EPA through Lockheed Martin, the prime contractor.  The program, called ITS ESE provides for USGC to provide wide ranging Information Technology support to EPA and its customers, including Systems development, maintenance, and operation; Application security support; IT architectural support; Data management support; Training; Statistical services; Geographic information systems (GIS) support; and Scientific application, Visualization and Computational Science Support.  The contract is renewable for a total of nine years.

February 13, 2004: GSA awards USGC IT Service (Schedule 70) on its GSA Consolidated Contract Schedule

USGC is pleased to announce that as a result of a new award by GSA, the firm now offers federal clients Information Technology (IT) support services on its GSA Consolidated/Corporate Contract, in addition to the Management Consulting (MOBIS) services already on that schedule.   Clients may now place orders to USGC for statements of work which combine both MOBIS and IT services on one task, a convenience that only a few firms, large or small, can offer. December 1, 2003:  USGC wins new 3 Year Navy Task Order under its GSA Corporate Contract worth almost $4 million

Effective December 1, 2003, USGC was awarded a new Navy contract worth $3.96 Million over three years. The awarded tasks include significant support from our business partner and subcontractor, Advanced Concepts, Inc. (ACI) of Columbia, Maryland.

October 16, 2003:  USGC Relocates its Headquarters to Annapolis, Maryland

USGC announced the relocation of the firm's headquarters from Herndon, Virginia, to Annapolis, Maryland.  The firm will occupy offices located at 2083 West Street, convenient to U.S. Route 50, a major artery to D.C., and to Route I-97, a major artery to Baltimore.  

May 15, 2003:  USGC and Primescape Solutions Announce Joint Marketing Alliance

USGC and Primescape Solutions, Inc. of Falls Church, VA have signed a joint marketing agreement to enable the two firms to partner in seeking new joint contracting opportunities in the Federal Government sector.

March 31, 2003:  USGC has been awarded a New GSA Consolidated Contract Schedule including MOBIS Services

USGC has announced that effective April 1, 2003, the firm has been awarded a GSA Corporate Contract, under the FSS Multiple Award Schedules.  This contract will permit USGC to offer "one-stop shopping" to federal agencies for almost all services covered by all other GSA FSS Multiple Award Schedules.  It is also a natural addition to USGC's service focus of providing multi-function client-driven solutions for each client.  Under the USGC Corporate Schedule, clients will be able to order a variety of services in single tasks to include, Information Technology (IT) services, Professional Engineering Services, Logistics Services, etc.  in addition to the Management and Organizational and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS) currently under the schedule.  The contract is available to all federal agencies, the D.C. Government and many "quasi-government" agencies.  The new contract number is: GS-00F-0048N.  USGC is one of only a few small businesses with a Corporate Schedule.

December 10, 2002:  NAVSEA awards USGC team new task order 

USGC has announced that it has been awarded still another new task order under its General Services Administration (GSA) Management and Organizational Business Improvement Services (MOBIS) Contract/Schedule.  The awarded task includes significant support from our business partner and subcontractor, Advanced Concepts, Inc. (ACI) of Columbia, Maryland.  The contract is worth $74K this fiscal year.

December 1, 2002:  USGC team awarded  task order by the United States Navy

USGC has announced that it has been awarded a new task order under its General Services Administration (GSA) Management and Organizational Business Improvement Services (MOBIS) Contract/Schedule.  The awarded task includes significant support from our business partner and subcontractor, Advanced Concepts, Inc. (ACI) of Columbia, Maryland.  

August 2002:  USGC awarded Navy Contract
 

USGC and its subcontractor Advanced Technology Systems, Inc. (ATS) of Columbia, Maryland, have been awarded a contract by the U.S. Navy, Naval Systems Command (NAVSEA).  The work will be performed in Vallejo, California.  Under the contract, USGC will support the BRAC closure of the Mare Island facility with information systems support, financial support and administrative support.
